If you arrive to muir woods without a reservation, you will be turned away. There is no shuttle from parking areas to the park entrance, so visitors booking a parking reservation do not need a shuttle reservation.
Parking reservations are not sold on site, and there is no cell reception to make a phone or web. Reserve standard parking if your vehicle is under 17 feet. Must have a parking reservation in advance.
